History and holiday merriment combine for fun outing

Slow down, take a deep breath and make a time warp visit to an old fashioned Christmas at Fort Vancouver.
Volunteer docents in period costumes carry on their holiday merriment in character and authentic dress inside the officer’s mess hall and outside on the grounds of the fort. Candlelight casts lovely shadows around the furnishings decorated in the simple tradition of Christmas long ago. You will be touring through the fort buildings and enjoying hot cider with the costumed interpreters! I have a wonderful memory of the time my family did the tour when they were little ones, pure magic.
